Watch the Dollar Go Gurgle

When we first made Aliyah here to G-d's palace turned insane asylum by the Erev Rav, we were told by my wife's close friend from her erstwhile community of Cincinnati to watch those dollars. The almighty greenback, strong and true, would never fluctuate in the down direction like the weak New and Revised over again version of the Israeli shekel. Of course her wise thoughtful friend from the alter heim (the old country) did not factor into the equation Gog W.'s continual regurgitation of his Road Map to Hell. For the last four and one-half years, whether he knows it yet or not, he has been on a collision course with the Almighty. He and his good ole' boys from Texas and from the Erev Rav have mistaken the holy soil here for Astroturf. They have tried to barter with Yishmael at the high cost of Jewish blood and body parts over tracts of holy dirt here in the Holy Land. The dollar during this time period has struggled to maintain respectability. Instead of rising to five and one-half shekels to the dollar it has plunged and plunged since about the time that Gog W. first announced his Road Map back in 2002. Now with the same Texas wheeler dealer from daddy's Administration, James K. Baker, Yemach Shmo, running foreign policy in the new and revised Gog W. Administration, the dollar is threatening to plunge into the abyss from which it will not return, bankrupting many good Americans in the process. Do you Americans want this good ole' boy from Abba Gog's Administration to ruin your superpower status in the world? Watch the dollar plunge to record lows as Gog W. searches for an "exit strategy" from Iraq, whose unholy soil he can really never leave because of all the Texas crude buried underneath it.

It was one thing when Gog made buddy buddy with the likes of Mahmoud Abbas. At least he could feign a desire for long term solutions to his unpeople's problems. Now Human debris Sir K. Baker wants to buddy up with Hamas to bring world peace and prosperity. Now watch the dollar go gurgle gurgle. Hold those greenbacks! Are you kidding! It's time to unload!

You need to give your readers one more bit of advice: Get out of debt now! The dollar has already lost 85% of its value since the 60's. Think about it - things you could buy for $1.00 in the 60's cost anywhere from $10.00 to $20.00 now (depending upon what part of the country you live in). Since the turn of the last century (around 1900), stuff you could buy with one penny can't be had for less than $10.00 today. The dollar is actuarily worthless and is close, as you pointed out, to spiraling into hyperinflation. If you have credit cards or consumer loans, the "terms" of your debt is that they can change the terms of your debt in any way they want and you have no recourse. They can keep jacking your "minimum" payments up and up and up and you will be without a legal leg to stand on. Now is the time to save your family from this scenario - now is the time to get out of debt, before it's too late. Here in America a lot of Jews are practically living on credit cards, yes even in the frum communities!

In the event that any of this materializes, perhaps all concerned Jews should update their passports, prepare some suitcases and boxes with emergency-fleeing possessions, and keep their eyes on the stock market?

This all goes with or without knowing where in Israel we would go to. Maybe we'll all start migrating to the desert again, as in the prophecy, and then finally Moshiach will come.

Neshama, why wait? You are assuming that the doors will still be open. After 9/11 NO PLANES left American soil. Already in Jan a new law goes into effect. No one can leave the country without prior approval!!

"The Department of Homeland Security proposed new rules back in July that would fundamentally undermine the right of American citizens to travel abroad. Public carriers--airlines, cruise lines, even fishing boats--will be required to submit the names of all passengers to Homeland Security prior to departure and to obtain permission from Homeland Security to board those passengers. These new rules will take effect January 14,...."

Practicaly Speaking
Open a tik with the Jewish Agency now.
Have at least 2 acceptible documented proofs of your Jewishness in several locations, keep a copy of a divorce get on your person ALWAYS.
Have gold coins or even jewelery these are compact portable wealth stores immune to inflation. Gems are price inflated and not easily assessed for sale, buy simple heavy jewelery for melt gold mass, keep the gold on your person during travel consider removing it quietly for metal detector checks.
Obtain a passport for every country you are eligable.
Buy a high quality backpack designed for youth hostel type touring keep it loaded for difficult air, rail, sea, or even foot travel include good hiking shoes or boots.
Have small portable sfarim to learn when you get a break, in crisis transport is usualy unreliable.
Know how to kasher keilem and how to prepare kosher food from non-jewish sources know where you can be mekil, consider packing kosher energy bars in your pack for if you are stuck until you can prepare food.
Do not expect to be able to travel with any of your money or access to any accounts which migh be frozen in a time of crisis.
Begin a seder of walking excercise now to strengthen your body and soften your shoes.
The Chofetz Chaim had such a bag packed for when all the Yidden were to return to our Eretz Yisrael. It is a hiddur mitzva to properly prepare even if you are unable to move now to your real home.
Trust in Hashem, yearn for Eretz Yisrael and geula shlema, learn Torah and do acts of chessed.

Shalom rav,
I am holding my highest respect to all fellow bloggers who have left responses here, but I have to say that you guys should calm down a little bit and stop spreading panic all over and giving your knee-jerk advices to people. No one from you got any mesage or nevuah from Hashem, so be a little bit more humble predicting future with that level of confidence.
And remeber "Do not impose (or wish to) on others what you yourself do not desire".

Your constand bashing of W. and desire to blame him for all our troubles in Israel is simply childish. I am not his biggest fun, but just try to stick to the facts and be consistent, and don't forget what Clinton caused us (just a reminder...).

My main point is - wish well to all your fellow Jews wherever they are (including America) and to others as well - that is what among other important things will bring Mashiah sooner.

Shalom.

It is time to do mitzvot and pray and prepare. If you want to flood the Bayt Lavan (White House) switchboards with phone calls to stop his Road Map to Hell in its tracks, that will help too. We are in for a bumpy ride if Gog W. and J.K. Baker, yemach shmo to Baker, do not step back from this chasm. There are many ways to prepare without panic for the precipice that we are stepping into. Emunah will be our only thing to grab onto.

For Heaven's sake little Hitler in Iran has big plans for occupied Tel Aviv and for Washington D.C. Leaving him alone for one more year to go about his business while pressuring Armilus on the Road Map will bring about Armeggeddon. He will watch the West retreat for 12 months without firing a shot. Do you think that a dependent American oil economy will survive when he has hegemonial control over Persian Gulf oil. To stick our heads in the sand without pointing out the consequences of Gog W.'s new policy would be the irresponsible thing. Or perhaps this is G-d's new policy. Lavan's face has changed. It is not the same friendly face that it was before the 17th of Cheshvan elections. We all know what Ya'akov did when Lavan's face changed. He consulted his wives and left around Pesach. Whether it is this Pesach to skiddle out of there or next one, I will not guess, but Lavan's face has definitely changed.

Dear Neshama,

I am so sorry to hear of your fears and desperation. I am also convinced that these blogs and forums that you are reading are doing this to you.

Hashem placed you on earth to do tikkun and you are losing sight of that. You should live your life with joy, faith, and trust in Hashem. He does not want you running to Israel.

If you notice, these forums have the same people on each of them. Their numbers are few. I do not think that they have the Ruach HaKodesh above and beyong the gedolim of our generation who are NOT telling you to move. These people make all sorts of predicitons that never materialize.

Please, I urge you at once to speak to your rav. These forums are getting to you and instilling deep fear within you. Don't have fear. Your neshoma lives forever. Your body is a vessel here on earth so that you can do tikkun.

Ask yourself, where can you personally serve Hashem better. In you current country or in Israel where you will be struggling to learn a new language, fight the secular gov't, fight the system, integrate yourself and your kids into that society,. You should not go to Israel out of desperation because some Internet people are scaring you. You should go because you can serve Hashem better from there.

If you cannot leave the U.S. at this time for financial reasons or for health reasons, make the preparations that you can. Do what you can to prepare yourself, but please do not panic. There will be a large chunk of the Gola (Jews outside Eretz Yisrael) that come after Mashiach comes. It is just that when the chaos of the collapse of the old world order occurs, Israel will be an island in the storm. G-d willing we will all make it even through the chaos. G-d should be gentle on us. We have suffered enough.

This does not mean that we should turn a blind eye toward the storm that is approaching. Wherever we are, we should prepare ourselves in the best way that we can possibly do so. With emunah we will all persevere.

Please Neshama, do not be frightened. It is frightening here too, but with emunah our fear is kept in check. On the other hand, at least you can prepare yourself for what is approaching. Stay in America if your circumstances are holding you back, but be prepared. Longing to be here should be one of your great merits that G-d will put on your scale on the side of merit.

Why are some people panicking? One of the biggest fears are fear itself.

NO ONE BELIEVED THE BABA SALI ZS'L; WHEN HE WARNED THE JEWS OF AGADIR, MORROCO THAT WITHIN 48 HOURS AGADIR WOULD BE ERASED AND VERY FEW JEWS ESCAPED AND WERE ZOCHE TO SAVE THEIR LIVES

NO ONE BELIEVED THAT THE INQUISITION WILL BURN JEWS AND SPREAD TO PORTUGAL AND OTHER PLACES

NO ONE BELIEVED THAT PEOPLE WOULD ACCUSE JEWS OF BAKING MATZA FOR PASSOVER WITH xtian CHILDRENS BLOOD

NO ONE BELIEVED THAT 6,000,000 MILLION JEWS WOULD BE MURDERED AND THE WORLD WOULD KEEP SILENT

NO ONE BELIEVED THAT AFTER EXPELLING OVER 10,000 PEOPLE FROM THEIR HOMES IN GUSH KATIF, 16 MONTHS LATER, THEY ARE STILL LOOKING FOR WORK AND A PLACE TO CALL HOME

We have the freedom of choice. HaShem wants to see what we, His children, will choose: To be faithful to HaShem and know that He is ruling the world and know the He is patiently waiting our Tshuva (return), or whether we chas vechalila choose to succumb to despair and think as in the past, it won't happen to us– this is up to the individual to decide.

Part of Hashem's tests are fear. It is a kind of a punishment, such as fear of elevators, germs, heights, bombs, etc. A person who fears HaShem, has no fear of "things".

Fearmongering? Hmmmm, then why am I who live on less than $700 a month in the upper Northwest finding myself, having to windowshop more and more at the grocerystore? Seriously, fewer items below a dollar, more and more averaging $3-4 per item. Most these items are healthy foods too vegtables, and all. Its really bad, simply cant afford them. Potatoes are becoming a main staple food. I tell you I will do what I can to keep my internet connection as long as I can, I'm isolated over here and there is no community here, I will starve first before it goes. What Dov says it not crazy, when my mom tells me in AZ that she is finding the groceries getting too expensive herself, you know its not your imagination that things are bad. My parents have a much larger income than I, and are starting to feel what I have been fighting the last year. Whats scary for me, is when every item is $3 or more at the store, so I've been stockpiling up till now HaShem has been helping me prepare. My freezer is full, and cupboards full as he's had me preparing so when that day comes I wont be starving. I'm telling you though I've felt things have gotten worst last few weeks, as far as prices, less sales. It looks like Potatoes, noodles, cheese, and bread main diet with chicken. I remember years past during the holidays you had extra money to buy special foods in the store. Not this year :(.

The Chazon Ish in the 1920's-30's said
Move to Eretz Yisrael, you are already poor in Europe instead be poor in Israel.
If you are a Jew you will get a free air ride and have your first year paid and have a stay in a absrption center, if you are already poor you are a perfect canidate for aliyah.
Like Torah and olam haba Eretz Yisrael is gained through meseris nefesh (hard struggle)
For now aliyah is now unbelivably easy if you can get over the social seperation from friends/family in chutz l'aertz.
I made the move from the USA 3 years ago now the thought of going to chutz l'aretz makes me sick, even elat (vadai eretz edom) is not interesting.

And what did the Chason Ish say about the teenager who made aliyah with his family a few years ago and became addicted to drugs in Israel.

Now he is dead.

I don't know much about economics but have been following the trends because 2 years ago I was extremely impressed that the whole system was going down. Bill Bonner can explain it well enough that even I understand. All nations have fallen or will fall that oppose Israel. Look at the British empire now. If you want to know what is really happening with the global economy, particularly the US, go to http://www.dailyreckoning.co.uk Their mostly ad free daily email has over 500,000 subscribers. It is excellent reading but realistic which means bearish. Economics, History, Poli Sci and Morality all wound up in one. There is an enormous housing bubble and credit bubble and the main news sources are lying to the public. Bill Bonner tells you how and why. http://www.dailyreckoning.co.uk/website/who_we_are.htm
