5775, The B'Itah Year of the Final Redemption

I realize that I have not posted in a long time.  Sorry about that it is a combination of becoming really busy and a hesitancy about talking about a year when there is a distinct possibility that millions or maybe billions of human beings might not live to see the other side of this year.  So yes, there is pause to think about our mortality as human beings as our physical beings go from dust to dust and in this coming year in a rather abrupt way.  I have decided to repost a comment from the last post about the significance of this Shmittah year and a letter that I sent to a friend about the impending economic and all out general collapse of the United States, explaining why the Dow reached 17,000 and may be poised to collapse.

The Significance of this Shmittah Year:

HaShem loves us, the Jewish people, as HIS junior partner specifically in His pet project of completing the Work of Creation. He gives us 6 out of every 7 years to "do our part" so that we can earn eternal reward. In the Shmittah year He takes over the reigns of control and removes our hands from the "junior partner steering wheel" in order to gradually direct, from one Shmittah year to the next one, the Creation toward its final perfect conclusion no matter how rotten of a job we did in the previous 6 years during which we managed to really mess things up. There is a difference this particular Shmittah year. This is the 7th Shmittah year since the 6 Day War. This Shmittah year is for the entire ball of wax as it were, to clear the deck for the Messianic Era. We will see early on this Shmittah year how He has taken complete control of the situation out of the hands of our own foolishness.

In short in this year we will advance in the next 12 months from the deprivation of Galut to full fledged Geulah.  Galut is spelled Gimel, Lamed, Vav, Tav.  Geulah is spelled Gimel, Aleph, Vav, Lamed, Hey.  The final Tav in the word Galut replaces the Hey in the word Golah which refers to the presence of Jews in exile while the word Galut refers to the state of being in exile. The only real difference, therefore, between the words Galut and Ge'ulah is the presence of the Aleph in the latter word Ge'ulah.  Aleph in a root invariably refers to the presence of G-d (Elokim, G-d attribute of strict justice).  So not only is this 7th year going to take us out of the deprivation of the exile, but it will also be a year of strict justice as G-d Himself erases the stupidity of our leaders in the last 6 years by wresting the control of our destiny away from likes of Tzippy Livni and Binyamin Netanyahu.  Their junior partnership is not needed anymore.

The 17th level of purity/ and impurity Tifereth that is in Tifereth: The Power of the Bear (Dubiel) from Daniel 7:

This is a thought and not meant to predict or to be taken as an ironclad fact, but I have been studying this phenomenon of the US Stock Market in the era of Obama for some time now, and it is unique.  For 6 years now, whenever there was poor economic news the market went up on anticipation that the Fed would simply print more money, most of which would end up in the stock market and sit there.  It is bizarre, but if you consider that at least in this Shmittah cycle in particular the US stock market is in the province of the Sitra Acher and completely in the side of darkness, it makes sense.

I am beginning to wonder if the previous/present level of the Dow is a ceiling from which the entire economic system in America will collapse once there are spectacular terrorist attacks on American soil.  We know that at the beginning of the Persian Empire before the rise of Daryavush (Darius) who completed the 2nd Temple, Koresh (Cyrus) served for 3 years and Achashverosh (Xerxes) served for 14 years.  That is a total of 17 years.

Bavel judged Yehudah at the end of 9 centuries from Matan Torah because Bavel represented the level of Din that is in Din which is the 9th level of purity.  There are three laws in halakhah which are pure Din because there are no extenuating circumstances for which they are ever permitted:  murder, idolatry, and the four Torah prohibitions on Arayot for which there is a death penalty: adultery, homosexuality, bestiality, and incest.  It was for those three things that the First Temple was destroyed at the end of 9 Centuries from Matan Torah.

Yawan was itself judged at the level of netzach that is in netzach, the 25th level of purity on the 25th of Kislev by those who were pure in Hod, Aharon haKohen.  Edom will be judged at the 33rd level of purity, hod that is in hod, by Yosef who is pure in Yesod.  Missing is the middle piece of Persia, who is pure until Tifereth that is in Tifereth, the 17th level of purity.  There is your power of the Bear....as in a bear market.  The force of Dubiel is all about wanting more stuff, more physicality, an accumulation of stuff as it were.

Now look at it in a different way.  Above the level of Edom's purity 32/33 there are 17 more levels.  Edom by virtue of the fact that they serve G-d no higher than level 32 while pretending to reach level 33 therefore leave 17 levels for the Kochot HaTumah, the forces of Amalek, to rule in the final 17 levels.  When an Edomite society becomes completely corrupted by piling on more and more stuff, it hands over the reigns of its culture to Amalek.  This has occurred rather quickly in a 49 year collapse into total depravity from the Summer of Love in 1967 (5727) until this year 5775, this year, the 49th year.  That is where America is at right now.  The Power of the Bear in American Society is now in the hands of Amalek, a precedent which was set in ancient Persia when Haman took over.  The Dow is at its 17,000 limit, and the Bear market will now take hold either at the beginning or near the end of Year 7.  The Manchurian President is waiting in the wings to become a full fledged dictator.

I think that it will take place at the beginning of year 7 so that the entire world can finally be judged for all of the pain and suffering in Jewish history during the Shmittah year.  Yet, the Prophets call it a "year of recompense for the cause of Tzion."  So the optimal place to be this year is right here in Eretz Yisrael.

Voices (Kolot) in the 6th Year:

So what were the Kolot in year 6 after all.  Yes, one of them was President Reuven Rivlin who is the 7th generation Kol HaTor.  His great, great, great, great grandfather was Hillel Rivlin who authored that famous sefer about the 999 steps of Mashiach ben Yosef....which reached completion when Ruby became President.  The other kolot were the sirens of the Gaza war in which 67 soldiers died.  67 is a very important number with regards to Yosef.  The Torah tells us that 66 descended into Egypt while Yosef and his two sons were already in Mitzraim.  There is a dispute amongst Chazal over who was the 67th person to go down into Mitzraim.  Some say it was Ya'akov Avinu himself.  Others say that it was Yocheved ben Levi who was born in between the gates at the border near/at Wadi El Arish.  Yet, there had to be a 67th person because the Torah tells us that 70 souls went down into Mitzraim - the 3 who were already there.  Is this the death of Mashiach ben Yosef?  I am not going to speculate on that at this time, but it is tempting to posit the question at least.  This war was very very different because what also died was the "popularity" of the Erev Rav.  Yes, the husk of our people is very much alive and in control here, but with the  wailing sirens (kolot az'akah) of this war, the population no longer desires their rule.  The Supreme Ct. decision to release thousands of infiltrators back into the streets of South Tel Aviv has only increased the popular hatred of our rich and powerful controlling ingrates.

Therefore there are two great outcomes from this war.
1.  Teshuvah is far easier if you are no longer enamored with the power and the prestige of the Erev Rav.

2.  When the international troops come to throw Jews out of their homes in Yesha/ and half of Yerushalayim, those troops will not have the support of a local Left Coast populous wanting to be loved by the world.  The nations of the world will have to rely on their own manpower and efforts to achieve their goal.

Rav Dov

I think the possibilities of an international armed internention force are close now; either a UN mission related to "Palestine", or an Allied mission to protect Jordan from IS, or both.

As for the UK -
The Scots decided to stay. It was a warning.
I now fear that a UKIP surge in popularity will split the Conservative vote, letting Labour win the UK elections next May. What follows is likely to be a government spending spree, leading us back into the crippling debt that the Conservatives in the government are tying to reduce.

Good morning London! Is EBoLah the EViL at the End of Days? It is clearly a plague to be reckoned with. its port of entry into the US: Dallas, Texas in recognition of Gog ben Gog W. Bush's part in emphasizing that even at it finest hour, America was founded on serving G-d ONLY in order to make money. When making money and the Truth contradicted each other, America took the pot of gold almost all the time. That is what serving G-d to the 33rd level of purity is all about, and American Presidents were specialists at that from 33rd degree Mason Gog Washington to Gog ben Gog Bush, Jr. The half-Muslim half-revolutionary theology Xtian occupying the White House is a far darker soul and must be considered somewhat different than the Gogs who came before him.

Think of Gog Sr. and Esau himself, Gog ben Gog his son as Eliphaz, his son for whom his god if fine gold, and the present occupant as Eliphaz's rebellious son, aspiring to serve an avodah zarah which he carries around in his pocket, Hanuman the monkey god, from his boyhood in Jakarta, Indonesia. He discusses this avodah zarah with admiration in his book, Dreams From My Father. On a recent pre-re-election trip to Jakarta he was blessed by someone from the city to embody the spirit of Hanuman in his 2nd term. From Rav Akiva Tatz: Who is Amalek? the one who is Amal Kof (toils like a monkey).

Bila'am and Balak were a matched set in the Torah. They come together like peas in a pod. Bila'am after failing to curse Yisrael three times recommends that the Midianite women conduct open orgies with the Yisraeli men in order to quickly bring them down from their holy status. Even if "sex in the park" with unmarried pagan women is not a sin requiring the death penalty in most circumstance, it is the quickest way to destroy a civilization dedicated to serving G-d. So it was in 5727 America when the Summer of Love burst on the scene. The drive to Mem Tet Sha'arei Tumah over the course of 49 years was set in motion with 5727 being the first year of that process. The 49th year is 5775. Near the end of this process we should see Bila'am and Balak reassert themselves as leaders of the Dog faced generation. Removing the Gogs from the equation (Gog Bush Sr. and his son Gog ben Gog Jr.) we have Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. The two letters that Bilaam and Balak have in common are Bet Lamed from which we get Bill. He represented the party atmosphere of ancient Bavel (Bet Bet Lamed). The letters that are left tell us who Barack Obamanation is: Ayin Mem Lamed Qof, the letters that Bilaam and Balak did not have in common plus the extra lamed that is not in the word Bavel. Watch out.

Not kidding, Dov, I was going to send you an email about why you had not posted. I have been looking at the news that is both hidden and obvious in the US and the all and all out lies that Obama has been peddling.
I was going to ask you regards a potential collapse of the US economy. I am glad you have posted. So many whom I speak with here both think and feel something huge is coming and quickly.
So many questions go through my mind at this time. I think I will email you... thank you for posting even though you wrote you were hesitant. I really do think we need to be informed.

Thank you for your post Dov, many of us hang on your words. I admire your great depth and breathe of knowledge.

However, as the saying goes: "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence,". I know you have mentioned shmitta / yovel cycles in support of this being the "b'itah year". Maybe you alluded to the Gaon. But it says that when we reach the time of redemption, even small children will know the calculation, i.e. it will be evident to all. This doesn't seem to be the case. Can you collect and summarize the most conclusive evidence for this being the year? For the sake of objectivity is there any contrary evidence?

Regarding the "kolot" of the 6th year: in the grand scheme of things, is Ruby Rivlin really so significant, that he should be alluded to by Chazal? What about the reports of mysterious sounds being heard in various locations around the planet?

Thank you for time and sharing your knowledge.

Yes, it seems official. Obie and Co. have behind the scenes told Abbas that they will send troops to evict Jews to establish Palestine no later than Nov. of 2016. This Abbas plan was likely hatched behind closed doors in the Oval Office. In order to set up the institutions of the State of Palestine by Nov. of 2016, the evictions will have to start this winter. This is foremost in Obie's mind, not the threat of ISIS, ebola, or Iran, but Jews in Yesha and East Yerushalayim.

Modern day Gog and Magog

GOG IS NOT PUTIN, GOG IS OBAMA

Gog and Magog in 2016

It takes time to gather an army and coordinate logistics. And yes, logistics is an enormous challenge. As the saying goes, an army marches on its stomach.

How much time would it take for Iran, North Africa, Russia and whoever else to get together for an attack on the Middle East?

Well, relations between Russia and Iran aren’t firm enough yet, but they are certainly moving in that direction. We will need to see what happens over this Summer, but I think that the earliest that Gog and Magog could happen would be the Summer of 2016.

And yes, it MUST happen in the Summer. Fighting during the rainy season would be a recipe for disaster.

And, there’s an interesting correlation to 2016.

Obama leaves/does-not-leave office

The midterm elections in the US this Fall will probably leave Obama even weaker than before. The Democrats may even lose their majority in the Senate. (Poor Harry Reid) Couple that with a weak foreign policy and a weakening military, and Russia might think that they have a ‘free pass’ for military activity.

Also, if it seems like a more hawkish Republican presidential candidate is going to win the 2016 elections, (assuming that Obama doesn’t make a play to stay in power) Russia would want to shoot for a Summer 2016 attack on Israel.

And, 2016 will also be the year when Israel’s natural gas production starts to rapidly increase.

Israeli Natural Gas

The Israeli Tamar gas field started delivering natural gas last year, and they plan to start exporting gas in 2016. The Leviathan field may also be producing natural gas by 2016. Whatever the exact dates for production and export, Israeli Natural gas poses a threat to the Russian natural gas monopoly for Europe.

That’s a big hook in the jaws of Gog (Ezekiel 38:4).

Iranian and Russian Natural Gas

The other side of this is the Iranian Natural Gas pipeline that is supposed to go through to Syria. Right now, that’s not looking so good. Both Russia and Iran are dedicated to making that pipeline happen, but the Syrian civil war is stopping it. This Iran-Iraq-Syria pipeline won’t happen until the area has been pacified.

Hmmmm… ANOTHER big hook in the jaws of Gog.

Take all of this together, and you have a recipe for a massive war in the Middle East.

But, will it mean a war in the Summer of 2016?

Financial Collapse

There’s another element to all of this – Financial Collapse. We’ve been predicting a collapse for years now, and we’ve been amazed that the US has held on for so long. But, there are limits to how long the central banks can keep this up.

Some very well connected people have been saying that 2014 is the beginning of the end, and I am prepared to agree. And, this financial collapse will have a direct impact on US armed forces.

If this collapse accelerates fast enough and far enough, America will lose the ability to field a large enough military to block a Russian incursion into the Middle East. Spare parts inventories will go to zero, aircraft will be grounded and ships will be unable to leave port.

And, the financial collapse will not hurt Russia nearly as much as the US.

"...Teshuvah is far easier if you are no longer enamored with the power and the prestige of the Erev Rav."

No longer? I was *never* impressed with our leadership, at least since the age of 13 or so, when I found out that for some reason, even though we won the 6-Day War, Jews were still not allowed to live anywhere they wanted in Israel. I would dare say the only people impressed with the power of the erev rav are those very erev ravniks themselves. Sometimes I have wondered in astonishment whether our leadership takes running a country seriously. Just one example: Most peoples value the land they sit on; but one of the smallest in the entire world seems hell-bent on giving away precious land and resources. What on earth have they been thinking since 5727/1967 CE - that Jews were going to stay desperately few in number forever? Thank G-d, He will yet bring us to the point where we recognize that we are indeed like the stars in the sky, the sand on the seashore - in spite of the efforts of all the nations to be rid of us. Too bad for them!

May our true leadership come swiftly, in our lifetime.

Don't worry. I've got lots of other things to do teshuvah for...

First time posting on this site, although i have been following your posts due to some similarities to what i have found as well.
I too agree 5775 is the game-changing year,
מקץ שבע שנים תעשה שמיטה
taase - change the letters it comes out תשע"ה which is our year.
And there are many more sources which show this Shmita year is the year of great change. but i'd like to point out that after extensive research i believe Gog is none other than Putin and Magog is Russia.
The USA cannot be Gog for a simple reason - they are not ירכתי צפון
meaning the prophet explicitly mentions a world power which comes from the far north. USA is not to the north of Israel, simple as that. Furthermore - there are midrashey chazal speaking of 3 aliyot gog - 3 wars that Gog tries to take jerusalem/Israel, just like Sancheriv tried. Which power waged on us war with the help of local arab nations? That's right - Russia. in 67 it was clear. Now let's look at the pasuk - it says "נשיא ראש משך ותובל" why would the prophet say nasi-rosh? nasi means "head" or "president" and so why double it with "rosh" which means head again? so my answer is simple - it's a code for Putin, who served both as Prime minister (rosh) and as President (nasi). I also view Gog as Amalek, and multiple Chazal sources agree with this pairing. Gog = Agag, Amalek is the stage after local wars, and before building the temple in the 3 Mitzvot given when we conquer the land. Ramban on milchemet amalek explicitly says that this first war is also the last war in which mashiach ben yosef will have to defeat amalek (gog). Yonatan ben uziel also follows this in other sources liek shem mishmuel:
ועל כן סוכות שהוא דוגמת ענני כבוד הוא מחיית עמלק, וכמו כן גוג ומגוג שענינם כעין עמלק יבא קיצם בחג הסוכות. (שבת חוהמ"ס תרע"ג

So gog and magog = amalek.
and I say USA = Mitsrayim.
Obama looks exactly like Pharaoh and just like Egypt - he restricts natural growth of settlement for 9 months (pregnancy term). Just like with Ancient Egypt - Israel is flourishing physically but being subservient. and I view the zionism as mashiach ben yosef (as did rav kook and rav sharki and more), so it makes perfect sense that modern day yosefite kingdom (state of israel) is under egypt (usa). By the way bibi is the last mashiach ben yosef (he's a direct descendant of the Vilna Gaon who saw himself as Nitsots ben yosef).
So if USA = egypt, and russia = amalek, the order of things should be as it was in history: USA/Egpyt falls, and then we battle Amalek who really surprises us.
This cycle of ridding the Yolk of a suppressor and then meeting amalek goes back to yaakov and esaw. Yaakov runs away from the supressor Lavan, and then meets Esaw. Same thing happens again when we leave egypt and then find ourselves fighting amalek. Once more - Bavel is out of the game, and we have to deal with Hamman. fast forwading to 48 - Britian our supressor is out - we deal with local amalek. Now to the end game - USA falls out, and we meet Russia=amalek=gog. Why is russia amalek? simple - Lo Yare Elohim - they are atheists, do not fear god. also look at their alliances in the middle east - Iran, Syria. Why will Putin invade Israel? Yechezkel tells us - yoshve al tabur haaretz - we are sitting on the "tabur" = belly button of the ground, what's a belly button - something you can get energy from inside the womb but you don't eat? that's called energy = natural gas. Putin will invade to eliminate competition in supplying gas to EU. There's more to say - but that's enough for one post.

Two quick points to dwell on. As I wrote earlier: No extensive analysis until Chol HaMoed.

1. Putin is all KGB, but he is NOT an atheist. He goes to church as a Russian Orthodox Xtian and has a fondness for Chabad, specifically his good friend and "spiritual adviser" Rav Berel Lazar who accompanied Putin on his trip to Israel and to the Kotel at 1am. I think that Putin was given a VIP version of the Tunnel tour. One thing for sure, Putin has no hostility against G-d or ancient religions who serve Him...unlike delegates for Barack Obama at the Democratic Convention who do have such hostility.

2. There are several things unique about 5775. For one, there are now 6 million Jews here in EY, a necessary precedent in order to pave the way for Ben David's arrival. The other two plateaus that did not disappoint were the 600,000 Jews plateau in 1947 and the 600,000 male soldiers over the age of 20 in 1967. This is the last and final population plateau. Secondly, this is the 49th year (Malkhut that is in Malkhut) year of the 48th Yovel cycle since Ezra HaSofer (50 year cycles when the 2nd Temple stood and 49 year cycles after the Churban Bayit). So this year in the Malkhut that is in Malkhut year preceding the Malkhut that is in Malkhut Yovel cycle which begins in 5776. Malkhut that is in Malkhut bespeaks of Ben David including the Shmittah year which precedes his coming. Chag Sameach.

Maybe EBoLaH is ARBeH since etymologically Ls and Rs are interchangeable?? as in SoVeL becoming SuFFeR in English....along with Bets becoming Peys. Linguistically Ls can become Rs and vice versa and Bs can become Ps and vice versa...and Ms can become Ns and vice versa. Also consonants often invert such as the Greek word for Truth (Emeth) being Etymon which is the source of the word etymology. Even in modern times we see that Ask can become Aks in ebonics. Isaac Mozeson discusses all this in his books about etymology. So linguistically Ebola can come from Arbeh.

CDG: No, Osnat was already in Egypt to be the mother of Yosef's children, Ephraim and Menashe, long before the 67 who came down to Egypt showed up. Remember when the 67 came down to Egypt, Yosef and his two sons were already in Egypt and were counted amongst the 70....unless you want to say that 66 came down and 4 were already in Egypt. The problem with that is that the pasuk there does not mention Osnat as one of the 70. In the case of Yocheved, she was born "bain haChomot" at the border so that a case could be made that she was born in both Egypt and Eretz Yisrael at the same time. So that would explain why she was not specifically enumerated. But Osnat was born in Eretz Yisrael and was given over to Potiphar or Potiphera as a daughter when Yosef was still in Eretz Yisrael tending Ya'akov's flocks. So there is no safek that she was already in Egypt when the 67 showed up.

If Yosef and his sons were counted despite having been in Mitzrayim a while, I thought that it is only fair that Osnat be counted too, tho she was born in E"Y and taken to Egypt much earlier than the rest of the family. I still don't understand why I am wrong, but I accept it for now.

Note for those who read the Torah and don't see that Osnat (or Asenath or however they spell it in English) is Dinah's daughter: Remember that her father, Potiphera (again, there might be an alternative spelling), was a eunuch - meaning he couldn't have been her natural father. Jewish commentaries identify her as the offspring of Dinah and Shchem (Shechem).

Correct, Potiphar was a eunuch. The Hebrew word for eunuch is Saris. Saris came to mean "court official" because all official Ministers of the court of Pharaoh were eunuchs. Eunuchs do not produce testosterone. So they are less likely to violently overthrow the ruling Monarch. Therefore making Sarim (Ministers) into eunuchs was a safety precaution to ensure longevity of the Regent. Many Biblical translations simply translate the word Saris as Minister or Ct. Official. When these translations do that, they definitely "lose" something in the translation...so to speak.

The worldwide "isolation" movement will receive a big boost when Little Pharaoh becomes a dictator right after the November Midterms. At least he will be a dictator in foreign policy and will ostensibly ignore any pleading from the US Congress to not abandon Israel.

Speaking of iron (Xtianity) mixed with clay (Yishmael) at the end of days from Sefer Daniel, I believe that Obama is a Muslim pretending to be a Xtian, and that Erdogan is Constantine, the founder of the Roman Catholic Church, pretending to be a Muslim. Both represent the "two legs" of the Roman Empire spoken of in Sefer Daniel, and yes both represent Amalek today.

NEW YORK – In a largely overlooked media advisory email, the World Health Organization admitted there are some circumstances in which the current strain of Ebola in West Africa can be transmitted through coughing or sneezing.

“Theoretically, wet and bigger droplets from a heavily infected individual, who has respiratory symptoms caused by other conditions or who vomits violently, could transmit the virus – over a short distance – to another nearby person,” the United Nations agency said Monday.

“This could happen when virus-laden heavy droplets are directly propelled, by coughing or sneezing (which does not mean airborne transmission) onto the mucus membranes or skin with cuts or abrasions of another person.”

The WHO advisory said saliva and tears “may also carry some risk.”

Next year in Berlin
Some Israelis yearn for new lives in Germany
Oct 11th 2014 | JERUSALEM

IS BERLIN the new Jerusalem? A Facebook page launched in Hebrew this month on how to move to a city far from rockets and rocketing prices in Israel has gone viral, reaching 600,000 people in a week. It is called Olim Le-Berlin, “Let’s ascend to Berlin”, using the same rousing verb Jews reserve for emigrating, or “ascending”, to Israel. An Israeli band sings a similar tune, turning the lyrics of Israel’s favourite song, “Jerusalem of Gold”, into a yearning for a “Reichstag of Peace, euro, and light”. Even Professor Manuel Trajtenberg, a leading economist commissioned by the government to look at the high cost of living, which sparked mass protests in 2011, has piped in. “Berlin is more attractive than Tel Aviv,” he says.

In the early to late 1930s many Jews in Europe declared:

“Berlin is our Jerusalem!” and “France is our Zion,”. The overwhelming number of secular and Orthodox Jews hence chose to stay in Europe. By the time they realized their mistake, it was too late; their communities were about to be transformed into
mountains of human misery. When the axe of the executioner fell, all branches of Judaism were cut down.

I ask you now. Are we seeing a repetition of this, are we seeing a repetition of the Exodus from Egypt where according to Rashi, only 20% of the Jews left for the Land of Israel? The rest felt confortable in Egypt and was killed in the plague of darkness by H'.

Dov, about the Ebola:

As bad as this all sounds, it is probably going to get even worse. Now ISIS has declared it will wage “Ebola jihad” against America by purposely infecting people, then flying them into our country. They certainly have the capacity to do this, and to do it without being detected.

And these “Ebola jihadists” could be from Amsterdam or London or Madrid, thus eliminating our ability to do screening by point of origin. Multiple sick Ebola patients on multiple airlines will expose thousands and thousands of fellow airline travelers – most of whom will not get the disease but the sheer numbers of contacts will exceed the ability of our medical system to identify and track them.

This could surely become one or more of "the plagues of Egypt". H' in His Great Wisdom really takes cares of things!

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu convened a special hearing at his office Sunday morning, on the subject of the spread of the Ebola virus. This meeting, following another discussion last week, aims to examine the progress made by state authorities in the case an Ebola-stricken individual arrives in Israel.

"Israel is prepared to prevent the entry of Ebola patients into our borders as part of the sustained effort we are making to protect the borders," Netanyahu said during the meeting, Walla! reported.

"This is a global epidemic and we are cooperating with other countries. If Ebola patients do arrive within our borders, we are taking a number of steps to isolate patients, and of course to take care of them through our health system. We hope there will be no need for it, but we are prepared for any eventuality."

Ben Gurion Airport manager Shmuel Zakai, who attended the hearing, said: "We are spreading a wide net at all border crossings to prevent the entry of passengers infected with Ebola."

Health Ministry Director, Prof. Arnon Afek, noted that the health care system is carefully watching the spread of Ebola and is in contact with others experts throughout the world. "We are constantly improving our health system and our level of preparedness to address anyone with Ebola who may enter Israel."

The internal meeting came just 24 hours after a meeting with the Palestinian Authority (PA) to discuss ways of battling the epidemic.

About the Israelis going to Berlin.

I cannot fully understand it, only partially, though I think it is not correct to say they have no Neshamot.

Someone I know is actually leaving Israel in a week to go to Berlin.

They are a Sabra, early 30's, and have lived overseas before for a few years to gain career experience and improve their English, which I can understand.

But having done that, they feel that their job in Israel is going nowhere and they have little chance of being able to afford their own apartment.
Night school is not practical as they get home around 9pm most nights.

So from an economic point of view I can understand it.

But everything else about leaving Israel for Germany long term makes little sense to me.

That said, the person though not religious, is traditional and not a "party animal" or a drug user etc. They did their obligatory military service.
They certainly have a Soul, but at this point in time cannot seem to feel/see the advantages of living in Israel which more than male up for the economic aspects of living in Berlin.

I guess the grass is greener etc.

And if anyone wonders about my user name, I do live in London having tried but failed to make Aliyah I am "regrouping" and plan to have another attempt at Aliyah in the future.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, and some 50 representatives of other nations met in Cairo on Sunday for a conference on reconstruction in the Gaza Strip in the wake of Operation Protective Edge.

The Palestinians have put the cost of Gaza reconstruction at about $4 billion, and Norway's Foreign Minister Borge Brende said the conference had secured $5.4 billion in aid, half of which would be used for rebuilding Gaza, while the rest could go to other Palestinian areas.

Among the countries offering reconstruction aid, Qatar offered $1 billion, and Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Turkey promised $200 million each.

France said it would contribute 40 million euros ($50.5 million) and Germany offered 50 million euros. Britain's ambassador to Egypt, John Casson, told Reuters London would provide $32 million.

EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton said pledges from the EU's 28 member states would reach 450 million euros ($570 million). It was not immediately clear whether this sum included the separate contributions announced by Germany, France and Britain.

Forbes:

If wealth is power, then Qataris have some serious muscle to flex. The Persian Gulf emirate of 1.7 million people ranks as the world’s richest country per capita thanks to a rebound in oil prices and its massive natural gas reserves. Adjusted for purchasing power, Qatar booked an estimated gross domestic product per capita of more than $88,000 for 2010.

Qatar has the third-largest reserves of natural gas in the world, and it has invested heavily in infrastructure to liquefy and export it, as well as to diversify its economy, without overreaching as much as nearby Dubai. Qatar has lured multinational financial firms to the country, as well as satellite campuses of U.S. universities. The government is pouring money into infrastructure, including a deepwater seaport, an airport and a railway network, all with an eye to making the country a better host for businesses and the 2022 World Cup.

I will try to write more about this later, but yes, its appearance in the Song of Songs in a context which compares the residents of Qeidar to the residents of Yerushalayim indicates that Qeidar is the Yishmaelic force to be reckoned with in this pivotal Shmittah year when the nations gather.

The Qedarites (also Kedarites/Cedarenes, Cedar/Kedar/Qedar, and Kingdom of Qedar) were a largely nomadic, ancient Arab and Semitic tribal confederation. Described as "the most organized of the Northern Arabian tribes", at the peak of its power in the 6th century BC it controlled a large region between the Persian Gulf and the Sinai Peninsula.

Biblical tradition holds that the Qedarites are named for Qedar, the second son of Ishmael, mentioned in the Bible's books of Genesis (25:13) and 1 Chronicles (1:29), where there are also frequent references to Qedar as a tribe.[2][5] The earliest extrabiblical inscriptions discovered by archaeologists that mention the Qedarites are from the Neo-Assyrian Empire. Spanning the 8th and 7th centuries BC, they list the names of Qedarite kings who revolted and were defeated in battle, as well as those who paid Assyrian monarchs tribute, including Zabibe, queen of the Arabs (šar-rat KUR.a-ri-bi).[6][7] There are also Aramaic and Old South Arabian inscriptions recalling the Qedarites, who further appear briefly in the writings of Classical Greek and Roman historians, such as Herodotus, Pliny the Elder, and Diodorus.

It is unclear when the Qedarites ceased to exist as a separately defined confederation or people. Allies with the Nabataeans, it is likely that they were subsumed into the Nabataean state around the 2nd century AD. Arab genealogical scholars widely consider Ishmael to be an ancestral forefather of the Arab people, and assign great importance in their accounts to his first two sons (Nebaioth and Qedar), with the genealogy of Muhammad, a Messenger of G'd in Islam, alternately assigned to one or the other son, depending on the scholar.

The descendants of Abraham and Hagar are called Ishmaelites, after Ishmael, their firstborn, and the Qedarites are named for his second son, Qedar. The Bible refers to both the Qedarites and Qedar frequently. Old Testament references include Genesis (25:13), Isaiah (21:16-17, 42:11, 60:7), Jeremiah (2:10, 49:28-33), Ezekiel (27:21), and Chronicles (1:29). Twice, Qedar is used to refer to the actual son of Ishmael, as in the books of Genesis and Chronicles, while remaining references are to his descendants, referring either to his most prominent North Arabian sons, or to the Arabs and Bedouins as a more general collective. The "tents of Kedar" equated with "the peace-hating Meshech" mentioned in the Book of Psalms (120:5) were likely a Qedarite sub-group.

In Canticles (1:5), the tents of the Qedarites are described as black: "Black I am, but beautiful, ye daughters of Jerusalem / As tents of Qedar, as tentcloth of Salam black." Their tents are said to be made of black goat hair. A tribe of Salam was located just south of the Nabateans in Madain Salih, and Knauf proposed that the Qedarites mentioned in this Masoretic text were in fact Nabataeans and played a crucial role in the spice trade in the 3rd century BC.

Biblical descriptions indicate there were two major types of Qedarites: nomads (Arabic: wabariya) living in tents and sedentary people (Arabic:ḥaḍariya) living in villages. Jeremiah describes them as "a nation at ease, that dwells securely" (49:31) and notes that they engage in the pagan practice of shaving their temples. Isaiah recalls their warrior activities and skill with the bow. (21:16f) Ezekiel associates, "Arabia and all the princes of Kedar," and indicates that they engaged in sheep/goat trading with the Phoenicians. The three books list the flocks of the Qedarites as including lambs, rams, goats and camels.

Jeremiah also tells of a campaign by Nebuchadnezzar (630–562 BC) against the Qedarites during the Babylonian period. Gashmu, the king of the Qedarites mentioned in the 5th century BC Aramaic inscription described above, is also referred to as "Geshem the Arab" or "Geshem the Arabian" by Nehemiah who lists him as one of his adversaries, since Gashmu stands opposed to Nehemiah's governorship over Judea in 447 BC.

Israel–Qatar relations

Qatar established trade relations with the Israel in 1996. In January 2008 Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak met with former Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa al-Thani in Switzerland, at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Some sources have said that a senior figure from Qatar paid a visit to Israel in mid-January 2008 and met with Israeli leaders to discuss the situation in Gaza and the possibility of jump starting stagnant negotiations over the release of Gilad Shalit.

Despite Qatar's support of Hamas, Israeli leaders have maintained direct contact with the emirate. In January 2007, in his last months as vice premier, former President Shimon Peres paid a high-profile visit to the capital city of Doha. Peres also visited Qatar in 1996, when he launched the new Israeli trade bureau there.

Foreign Affairs Minister Tzipi Livni also met with the Qatari Emir at a UN conference in 2008. In April 2008, she visited Qatar where she attended a conference and met the Emir, the Prime Minister and the Minister of Oil and Gas.

When Qatar were awarded the right to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup, they stated that Israel would be allowed to compete in the tournament should they qualify.

Qatar National Olympic Committee and the State of Israel co-funded the Doha Stadium in the Israeli Arab town of Sakhnin located in the Galilee region of Israel. The stadium was named after the Qatari city of Doha. The decision by the Qataris to build the stadium in Israel came after a meeting between Member of Knesset Ahmad Tibi and Secretary-General of the Qatar National Olympic Committee Sheikh Saud Abdulrahman Al Thani after Tibi expressed his concern on the conditions for sport in Sakhnin. The involvement of Qatar was to show that relations between the two nations are peaceful and with a similar interest.

In 2010, Qatar twice offered to restore trade relations with Israel and allow the reinstatement of the Israeli mission in Doha, on condition that Israel allow Qatar to send building materials and money to Gaza to help rehabilitate infrastructure, and that Israel make a public statement expressing appreciation for Qatar's role and acknowledging its standing in the Middle East. Israel refused on the grounds that Qatari supplies could be used by Hamas to build bunkers and reinforced positions from which to fire rockets at Israeli cities and towns, and that Israel did not want to get involved in the competition between Qatar and Egypt over the Middle East mediation.

In 2013, Qatar reportedly assisted in an Israeli operation to bring a group of Yemenite Jews to Israel. The claim was made by a Lebanese source. According to the source, 60 Jews fleeing Yemen were allowed to transition from Doha on a flight to Israel.

Israeli leaders harshly criticized Qatar's diplomatic and financial support of Hamas in the wake of Operation Protective Edge, accusing the Qataris of being major sponsors of terrorism. Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman called for the banishment of Qatar-based Al Jazeera journalists from Israel.

Israel has not launched a full-court diplomatic campaign against Qatar for aiding and abetting terrorism because of concern that the closeness of US-Qatar ties would render such a campaign futile, according to a senior diplomatic official. Qatar is too big an ally of the US and the West, the official said and any such campaign would be tantamount to “banging our heads against the wall.” He said Jerusalem is not interested in going “toe-to-toe“ with Washington over the issue.

Qatar is home to the US Central Command’s Forward Headquarters and the Combined Air Operations Center, and is the location of three US air bases, including its largest one in the Middle East. It recently signed contracts to purchase some $11 billion in US arms and weapons systems.

Those Who Bless Israel Will Be Blessed, and Those Who Curse Israel Will Be Cursed.

The Black Death - Ebola's predecessor?

The Black Death was one of the most devastating pandemics in human history, resulting in the deaths of an estimated 75 to 200 million people and peaking in Europe in the years 1346–53. Although there were several competing theories as to the etiology of the Black Death, analysis of DNA from victims in northern and southern Europe published in 2010 and 2011 indicates that the pathogen responsible was the Yersinia pestis bacterium, probably causing several forms of plague.

The Black Death is thought to have originated in the arid plains of central Asia, where it then traveled along the Silk Road, reaching the Crimea by 1343. From there, it was most likely carried by Oriental rat fleas living on the black rats that were regular passengers on merchant ships. Spreading throughout the Mediterranean and Europe, the Black Death is estimated to have killed 30–60% of Europe's total population. All in all, the plague reduced the world population from an estimated 450 million down to 350–375 million in the 14th century.

The aftermath of the plague created a series of religious, social, and economic upheavals, which had profound effects on the course of European history. It took 150 years for Europe's population to recover.[citation needed] The plague recurred occasionally in Europe until the 19th century.

Was Ebola behind the Black Death?

Controversial new research suggests that contrary to the history books, the "Black Death" that devastated medieval Europe was not the bubonic plague, but rather an Ebola-like virus.

History books have long taught the Black Death, which wiped out a quarter of Europe's population in the Middle Ages, was caused by bubonic plague, spread by infected fleas that lived on black rats. But new research in England suggests the killer was actually an Ebola-like virus transmitted directly from person to person.

The Black Death killed some 25 million Europeans in a devastating outbreak between 1347 and 1352, and then reappeared periodically for more than 300 years. Scholars had thought flea-infested rats living on ships brought the disease from China to Italy and then the rest of the continent.

But researchers Christopher Duncan and Susan Scott of the University of Liverpool say that the flea-borne bubonic plague could not have torn across Europe the way the Black Death did.

"If you look at the way it spreads, it was spreading at a rate of around 30 miles in two to three days," says Duncan. "Bubonic plague moves at a pace of around 100 yards a year."

Unlike the bubonic plague, a bacterial disease which still exists in parts of Asia, India and North America, viral diseases are passed on from person to person, usually by breath or touch.

Ebola-Like Symptoms Cited

In their new book Biology of Plagues: Evidence from Historical Populations, Duncan and Scott compare the signs and symptoms of the Black Death with modern-day viruses such as the Spanish flu, the West Nile virus and, most closely, Ebola.

Medieval descriptions of the Black Death sound like the hemorrhagic fever caused by an Ebola-like virus, the authors say. Such fever strikes fast and causes blood vessels to burst underneath the skin, bringing out welts, similar to what British medical texts from the Middle Ages describe as "G'd's tokens."

The liquidization of internal organs that causes excruciating pain in Ebola victims matches the descriptions of historical autopsies on plague victims, which similarly describe internal organs being dissolved along with the appearance of a black liquid, according to the authors.

Duncan and Scott also note that efforts to quarantine the Black Death were successful. In the wake of the first outbreak, Europeans learned that quarantining infected families for 40 days was effective in stopping the spread. Such a measure would not have worked if the disease were transmitted by rats, the authors suggest, because rats do not observe quarantines.

Also, the 40-day period was enough time to ensure the disease finished its incubation period. One of the difficulties in controlling the Ebola virus is that its symptoms start to appear only about five to 22 days after exposure. Therefore people who appear perfectly healthy could be carrying the lethal disease.

Skeptics Say Theorists Should Work Plague by Plague

Ann Carmichael, a historian who is an expert on the Black Plague, welcomes the work produced by Duncan and Scott, but remains skeptical.

"It is problematic to assimilate evidence over four centuries and draw conclusive theories," says Carmichael. "We must look at it on a plague-by-plague basis."

According to Carmichael, texts dating from 14th-century Italy provide extremely detailed and consistent accounts that describe visible swellings called buboes that developed predominantly under the skin around the groin and armpits — a prime target area for fleas. The buboes are what give bubonic plague its name.

"We don't know that Florentine buboes looked like 'God's tokens' found in England, however," she says.

The research by Duncan and Scott is a good start, but there is need for further research, says Carmichael. There is no robust evidence that quarantining systematically applied worked, she says.

Link to HIV-Resistant Gene?

Duncan and Scott believe their theory of a viral cause for the Black Death is supported by the recent discovery of a mutated gene called CCR5 that is resistant to HIV/AIDS. It is estimated that approximately 10 percent to 18 percent of those of European descent carry the gene.

American researchers working on the gene have calculated that the first mutation of the gene took place around 650 years ago — coinciding with the first outbreak of the Black Death in Europe.

According to Duncan, a process of natural selection could have left Europe populated predominantly by those carrying the mutated gene. This would account for the high percentage of the European population that still carries this gene.

Dov, I am sure you using the word CHANT, no? So, what is the issue here?

A chant (from French chanter) is the rhythmic speaking or singing of words or sounds, often primarily on one or two main pitches called reciting tones. Chants may range from a simple melody involving a limited set of notes to highly complex musical structures, often including a great deal of repetition of musical subphrases, such as Great Responsories and Offertories of Gregorian chant. Chant may be considered speech, music, or a heightened or stylized form of speech. In the later Middle Ages some religious chant evolved into song (forming one of the roots of later Western music).[2]

==============

can·ti·cle (knt-kl)
n.
1. A song or chant, especially a nonmetrical hymn with words taken from a biblical text other than from the Book of Psalms.
2. Canticles Bible The Song of Songs.
[Middle English, from Latin canticulum, diminutive of cantus, song, from past participle of canere, to sing; see kan- in Indo-European roots.]

The Battle of Gog and Magog - Ezekiel 38 gives us the lists the major nations that will attack Israel, and they are:

• Magog - this is modern day Russia
• Persia - this is modern day Iran
• Meshech and Tubal, Togarmah - this region is modern day Turkey
• Ethiopia - this is modern Ethiopia
• Libya - this is modern day Libya
• Gomer - this is modern day Germany

And Tarshish and its young lions - Britain and America - will say 'Do you really think the armies you have gathered can rob them (Israel) of silver and gold? Do you think you can drive away their livestock and seize their goods and carry off plunder?'

Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and say unto Gog: Thus saith the Lord G'D: In that day when My people Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?

Why will the nations come for us?

Ezekiel 38 says that these nations come against Israel for financial reasons. " Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?" Now, what could there possibly be in Israel that would entice all those nations to invade Israel?

Bereshis/Genesis:

2. Gather and listen, sons of Jacob, and listen to Israel, your father.

25. from the G'd of your father, and He will help you, and with the Almighty, and He will bless you [with] the blessings of the heavens above, the blessings of the deep, lying below, the blessings of father and mother.

Hence, the Torah says that Israel will receive a "blessing of the deep" in the land that lies under Israel. What lies under Israel? Trillions of metric tons on natural gas, and quite possibly oil as well.

Thirty-five trillion cubic feet of gas worth some USD $500 billion has been found in Israel’s “economic waters,” with the Leviathan field being by far the largest. To give some kind of reference point, Israel’s national expenditures for 2013 totaled USD $114 billion.

More importantly than covering the national budget is the fact that, for the first time in history, Israel has the opportunity to become energy-independent, as well as a major exporter of natural gas.

So, if the Bible says that Russia will lead the charge into Israel to "take a spoil", don't you think that there would be signs in Russia right now that they are paying close attention to the situation? Russia is eagerly watching the developments in Israel with baited breath, and just waiting for their moment to, with Iran and others, invade Israel.

Iran to Russia: Let's establish a nuclear consortium. Iran has asked Russia to join forces in establishing a nuclear consortium to supply fuel for the newly operational Bushehr plant, as well as other plants due to begin functioning in the future. According to reports, Iranian Vice President and nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi, said that the proposal to Russia was made "for the creation of a consortium, licensed by that country, to do part of the work in Russia and part of it in Iran."

This is EXACTLY what Ezekiel saw in his vision of the end times - Russia and Iran together as partners in military matters which will ultimately lead to the attempted invasion of Israel.

Really I should write Isru Chag Sameach since there is only one day between Chag and Shabbat. In ancient times one could still offer up a Chagigah, a korban Shlamim for the festival, for Chag on Isru Chag. Usually these were offered up either during Sukkot or on Shmini Atzereth, but a Shlamim can be eaten over the course of two days. So a festive korban that was offered up on Shmini Atzereth could also be eaten on Isru Chag too. The fact that a shlamim could be eaten over two days make Isru Chag almost d'Oraita even if the festival has officially ended.

The Survivors of the War of Gog Umagog

“And it will be that out of the entire world, Gd says, two thirds will be destroyed and only a third will remain. And I will bring that third through fire and cleanse them…I will test them…and I will answer those who call out in My name…” (Zecharya 13:8-9)

The commentaries explain this prophecy to mean that a minority group of gentile nations will survive the ravages of this war. Which nations will these be?
The prophet Ovadia predicted the complete annihilation of all vestiges of Edom, the descendants of Esav. The commentaries explain that the name “Edom” is used by the prophets in reference to Nossrut, which will be entirely eradicated during the war of Gog Umagog. The survivors, then, will include Yishmaelim and perhaps other non-Nossrim. They will be “tested” and “cleansed” from their allegiances, and only those who call out truthfully in Hashem’s name will merit survival.
The Sages teach that Esav, the father of Edom, never repented and died a wicked man, whereas Yishmael repented toward the end of his life and departed the world in a state of piety. This is one of many reasons why adherents to Nossrut will not merit to see the End of Days while some Yishmaelim will.

Jewish Survivors

The war of Gog Umagog will differ from the other calamities that have befallen the Jewish people over the centuries, during which righteous Jews were killed together with the sinners. In the war of Gog Umagog, all who remain steadfastly faithful to Torah and missvot are guaranteed to survive the war and behold the final redemption. It therefore behooves us all to properly prepare ourselves for these turbulent times and ensure that we will be worthy of surviving the persecution and living to see Mashiah’s arrival.

The Purpose of Gog Umagog

Three main reasons are clearly outlined by the prophets as to why this catastrophe must precede the Messianic era. For one thing, as mentioned, the destruction wrought upon the gentile nations will serve as divine retribution for persecution of the Jewish people throughout the centuries of exile, and particularly for the destruction of the Bet Hamikdash. Hashem will cause them all to gather in the place of their past misdeeds, in Israel, where they will wage war against each other and ultimately be destroyed.

Additionally, the war will serve to rid the Jewish Nation of the sinners who are not worthy of redemption, and to purify those who are worthy but require atonement for sins they have committed.

Most importantly, however, the miracles that will occur during the war of Gog Umagog will clearly demonstrate to the entire world that Hashem is the true G'd, upon whom we depend and to whom we must dedicate our lives during the Messianic Era. The war will pave the way to Mashiah by allowing all mankind to witness firsthand Gd’s infinite power and the chosen status of Am Yisrael.

26 And after the threescore and two weeks shall an anointed one be cut off, and be no more; and the people of a prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; but his end shall be with a flood; and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

27 And he shall make a firm covenant with many for one week; and for half of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease; and upon the wing of detestable things shall be that which causeth appalment; and that until the extermination wholly determined be poured out upon that which causeth appalment.'

Rashi says that this last septet was during the reign of Hadrian. That would mean that Bar Kochba would be the potential anointed one in that verse/ two verses in Daniel and would mean that that last septet that Gavriel was referring to has already occurred. I will leave the final interpretation of Daniel Chapter 9 to a later review when we have more 20/20 hindsight. The 62 sevens obviously refer to the time between Koresh allowing the return of Jews to Yerushalayim until the destruction of the 2nd Temple taking off 12 years for the rule of Achashverosh. I believe that adds up to about 434 years (62x7). The other 7 sevens preceded Koresh's word to go forth to return to Yerushalayim from the time of the destruction of the First Temple until Koresh's decree being a bit more than 49 years. In short these 70 sevens have all occurred in the past. Seven sevens before Koresh, 62 x 7 after Koresh until the destruction of the 2nd Temple, and one more seven during Hadrian's rule including the Bar Kochba revolt. This is NOT an endtimes prophesy, unlike the one at the end of Chapter 12 which IS such an endtimes prophesy.

Dov, I am not convinced by your comment. I am of the opinion that Jewish history indeed repeat itself, it has managed to get stuck in vicious circle. To support my case I bring one person that you follow and admire, Rabbi Lazer Brody.

Rabbi Brody has stated at several occasions that "that Jewish history always repeats itself." Last time I found this statement was on July 15 2014. He at that time stated that Christine Darg / July 15, 2014 / Articles

Today we enter the "Time of Dire Straits"

When Israel repents, “it’s a knockout for the Hamas.” So writes Israeli Rabbi Brody in his blog today.

It’s no coincidence that today on the Hebrew calendar is the 17th of Tammuz, one of the most tragic days in Jewish history. Among other Jewish national woes, this is the day when the walls of Jerusalem were breached by the Romans.

“History seems to be repeating itself, with Hamas threatening to destroy our land and our people.”

When I look at historic world events I can come to no other conclusion. And I have support from out Sages: "Ma’aseh avot siman labanim.” What happened with ancestors is often a pattern that their descendants are destined to follow. And the repetitive nature of historical processes seems to be true in the stories of all nations and cultures.

Hence I am not ready to dismiss Daniel 9:26-27 as also a future event.

Yes, and the international troops will show up here on Asarah b'Tevet (in January), 271 days before the First Day of Sukkot 5776. That is also a repetitive event. Things do repeat themselves on certain dates in Jewish history, no doubt about it, but Shmittah cycles themselves rarely repeat themselves. Dates and Shmittah cycles are two different things.

Neshama: I have answered that before. If one accepts the 165 year discrepancy between the Seder HaOlam's date for the destruction of the First Temple (3338 or 421 bce) and the secular date (586 bce) as an attempt by Daniel to hide 165 years of the Persian/ Media Empire from the official record, then a lowly version of the 2nd Temple stood for 165 additional years during a more lengthy Persian Empire. The gematriah of "Sod Daniel" is 165. The idea being that he sealed away 165 years of Jewish history in order to obscure the end. This was brought down by Rav Shimon Schwab zt"l many years ago. I saw the original essay on the subject back in the mid-1980s. According to the Vilna Gaon, Nebuchadnezzar stopped the tamid offering in accordance with Chapter 12 of Sefer Daniel 18 years before the destruction of the First Temple when he first showed up. That would place the cessation of the tamid in 604 bce. Add 1290 years to -604 and add one year because there was no year 0 in the Julian/Gregorian calendar, one arrives at 687 ce, the year when the cornerstone to the Dome of the Rock was laid. There is your abomination that makes desolate. Now add 1335 years to 687 and one arrives at the year 2022 ce, 6 years after 2016 (5776). If ben David starts to build the 3rd Temple in 5776, he will complete it in about 6 years. It took Shlomo HaMelekh 7 1/2 years to build the 1st Temple. So the 3rd Temple might be dedicated on Tisha B'Av 5782, another year in which Tisha B'Av falls on Shabbat besides 5775, 5776, 5778, and 5779.

A Building of the Heavens or of the Earth

There is a classic difference of opinion between our Rabbis regarding the construction of the Third Beis HaMikdash. The Rambam states that the Beis HaMikdash will be built by man, more specifically by Mashiach. Indeed, its construction will be one of the signs of Mashiach’s advent.

Rashi,by contrast, explains that the Beis HaMikdash has already been constructed by G‑d and exists in the heavenly realms, waiting for the time when it will descend to the earth. For the Third Beis HaMikdash will be “the Sanctuary of G‑d, established by Your hands.” When the setting within the world is appropriate, this heavenly structure will descend and become an actual reality within our material world.

Meir: I see no difference or conflict between both scenarios. I believe they are 2 parts of 1 Divine happening. We can make an esrog kodesh by making a blessing over it, and many other items, but only G-d can make the Temple Kodesh with His acceptance and Presence therein.

Just one answer to one of the points: I hold by the Rambam on the issue of whether or not the 3rd Temple must be built. 1. There is a positive commandment in the Torah to build a place where HaShem can dwell. In the desert it was a mishkan, a tabernacle. In Eretz Yisrael it is a Temple on the Temple Mt.

2. Chapters 25 through 40 of the Book of Exodus are almost solely dedicated to the building project in the desert, the Mishkan. That is 4 1/2 parshiot. (Terumah, Tetzaveh, Vayakhel, and Pekudei). Even the half of Ki Tisa that does not deal with the Golden Calf and its aftermath is about building the Mishkan. Since the Torah is an Eternal document and not just prophesy about one generation or another, it would seem to me that when the time comes, we will have to build the dwelling place for HaShem on earth. It just seems to be the case. can't prove it, but it just makes sense. Well there is some corollary evidence with I will discuss at a later date. Consider why the Torah tells us about fine gold and onyx stones near the River Pishon in Bereishit if we accept the possibility that the River Pishon is the Mississippi River and not the Nile. If it is the Nile then yes, we cleared out the gold and the onyx stones to build the Mishkan and maybe the First Temple. But if it is the Mississippi, then this knowledge only applies to our generation and not to ancient times. And this knowledge will be used to find the gold and onyx for the 3rd Temple.

Each of these views is based upon sources in the works of our Sages. There is, however, a unique historical point which supports the Rambam’s position. Our Sages relate that in the era of Rabbi Yehoshua ben Chananiah, the Romans granted the Jews permission to rebuild the Beis HaMikdash. Joyous at the opportunity they were granted, our people rushed to begin the preparations for building only to have the project thwarted by the intervention of the Samaritans. What is significant, however, is that they planned to build the Beis HaMikdash through their own efforts; they did not wait for it to descend from the heavens.

Will We Be Worthy?

This account can, however, be reconciled with Rashi’s view. To explain: Our Sages note the apparent contradiction between two verses describing the coming of Mashiach. One verse states:7 “Behold, one like a son of man came on the clouds of heaven.” It is, however, also written:8 “Your king will come... like a poor man riding on a donkey.” In resolution, our Sages explain that if the Jews are found worthy, Mashiach will come “on the clouds of heaven”; if they do not merit, he will come “like a poor man riding on a donkey.” Similarly, in other contexts, our Sages describe one course for the Redemption if the Jews’ conduct is meritorious, and another, if, heaven forbid, such merits are lacking.

In the present context as well, it can be explained that the ultimate conception of the Beis HaMikdash is a heavenly structure to descend from above. If, however, the Jews are not worthy of such a sanctuary, the Beis HaMikdash will still return in the Era of the Redemption. It will, however, be a structure built by man, and not by G‑d.

On this basis, we can also resolve the difficulty cited above. When the Romans granted the Jews the opportunity to rebuild the Beis HaMikdash, the people must have been somewhat disappointed that the Beis HaMikdash did not descend from heaven. Nevertheless, the realization that they had not been found worthy of a heavenly structure did not dampen their enthusiasm for building a sanctuary to the fullest extent of their human potential.

Concrete Elucidation of Yechezkel’s Prophecies

Another possible resolution can be offered based on the Rambam’s statements shortly after the beginning of Hilchos Beis HaBechirah:

The structure which Shlomo built is already described in the [Book of] Melachim. Similarly, the structure which will be constructed in the future era [is described in the Book of] Yechezkel. Nevertheless, the description there is not explained or elucidated.

[Therefore,] the people who constructed the Second [Beis HaMikdash] in the time of Ezra, built it according to the [basic] design [employed by] Shlomo, incorporating the elements which were explicitly detailed by Yechezkel.

It can be explained that Mashiach will lead the people in the construction of those dimensions of the Beis HaMikdash which can be grasped by human intellect. Afterwards, since the dimensions of Yechezkel’s prophecies which we cannot comprehend will be left incomplete, they will be revealed from heaven by G‑d.

When That Which is Hidden Will Emerge

Another approach to reconcile Rashi’s view and that of the Rambam is based on our Sages’ interpretation of the verse, “Her gates sank in the earth.” Our Sages relate that the gates of the Beis HaMikdash were fashioned at the order of King David. This endowed them with an eternal invulnerability. When the Babylonians laid waste to the Beis HaMikdash, the gates were not destroyed. Instead, they were swallowed by the earth.

In the Era of the Redemption, the entire Beis HaMikdash will descend from the heavens with the exception of the gates, which will ascend from the earth. Mashiach will then connect the gates to the Beis HaMikdash. Our Sages explain15 that connecting the gates to a building is considered as equivalent to the construction of the entire edifice.

Adding Divine Perfection to Human Effort

Moreover, it can be explained that the two conceptions are, in no way, contradictory. Building the Beis HaMikdash is a mitzvah incumbent on the Jewish people. In the Era of the Redemption, when it will become possible to fulfill all the mitzvos, we will also be obligated to rebuild the Beis HaMikdash. Within that structure which man will erect, however, will descend and be enclothed “the Sanctuary of G‑d,” which is waiting in the heavens.

Mankind is obligated to create a Sanctuary for G‑d within the context of our material world. After that is completed to the fullest extent of our human potential, the inner essence of the Beis HaMikdash will be revealed — that it is “the Sanctuary of G‑d,” possessing a dimension of perfection which utterly surpasses any possible work of mortal man.

May we witness the actual resolution of this issue in the immediate future, with the coming of the Redemption and the rebuilding — or the descent — of the Beis HaMikdash. “And then, the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasing to G‑d, as in the days of old and as in bygone years.”

Oy, the shoresh of Ebola is Aveilut or Eivel which of course means Mourning. A contributor to this blog quipped that if sometime during the year 5775 millions start to die, or hundreds of millions or even billions, Aveilut will be canceled at least for relatives that are not so close...but also for relatives who are close. This will likely occur when the nations of the world scheme to send those troops to Yerushalayim to war with the G-d of Israel Himself, disputing His decision to undivide Yerushalayim and Eretz Yisrael miraculously in just 6 days in 5727, 48 years ago. You see why I did not mention this during Sukkot?

I would look at the 1-2 combination of Zecharia 13 and 14 as a warning to the human species created in the image of G-d, that there comes a point when you mess around with the Creator's Will that He will no longer hold back. But it is more than a warning. G-d Himself wanted Obama re-elected to bring on the End. Two weeks before the Presidential election in 2012, Romney was up by two percentage points in the Rasmussen polls (49-47%) with 4% still undecided. Romney knew that unlike 32 years ago against Carter, the undecideds could care less about morality in foreign policy. So he refused to engage Obama is a moral debate about his foreign policy in the last debate. Instead he chose to appear Presidential. Well then HaShem turned the tables. He sent the 250 year storm called Sandy to the NorthEastern Seaboard one week before the election. The next day Obama appeared with Chis Christie all over the New Jersey shore looking very Presidential. And all those undecideds plus a considerable amount of the cemetery voters in Cleveland and Philadelphia went for Obama. Game, Set, Match. And now the little snot and his Vietnam vets hating sidekick will bring on the End.

"The formulas of the 'Framework for Peace in the Middle East' signed at Camp David in 1978 [by Egyptian President Sadat, Israeli Prime Minister Begin and U.S. President Carter] were the starting point for the Madrid negotiations. Three sets of bilateral talks were to follow the opening session: between Israel and Syria, Israel and Lebanon, and Israel and the joint Jordanian-Palestinian delegation. The bilateral talks had as their foundation U.N. Resolution 242, with its principle of land for peace, and U.N. Resolution 338, which called for direct negotiations.

Could Turkey be Gog, and Magog its leader?

Yechezkel verse 2 tells us that Magog is the “chief prince” (or most prominent) of his brothers, Meshech and Tubal. So Noah had a son named Japheth who had a son named Magog who settled Turkey. Could Gog be a shortened version of Magog?

Today Turkey has a leader that fits the Magog profile, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. He became Prime Minister of Turkey in 2003. He is a devout Muslim and has an ingrained animosity toward Israel. He also has a volatile disposition. He has been over-zealous in his public hatred and provocation toward Israel. While most Middle Eastern despots are being besieged and exiled, Prime Minister Erdoğan was popular and was gaining in popularity. Presidential elections were held in Turkey on 10 August 2014 in order to elect the 12th President of Turkey.[2] The result was a victory for the incumbent Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who was elected outright by a simple majority of the vote in the first round.

Will Obama Leave Office in 2016?

He could declare martial law. Now we already know that Obama has signed an executive order giving him the right to declare martial law any time he wants. This is a significant sign that he thinks there might be a good reason for him to need that authority.

This could happen either right before the midterm elections happen, or before the newly elected Congress takes office. This would be a great solution to keep him even more firmly in control than he is now. Plus, he would also be able to suspend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

You may or may not be aware of this, but Obama has actually relieved nearly 200 top military commanders in order to make the military more loyal to him and his extreme vision for America. This includes even some of the top generals and colonels. Obama has even quietly asked members of the military to swear a personal oath of loyalty to him. Plus, he has been arming and equipping the Department of Homeland Security, making them as well trained and armed as the military. This is what he will most likely use if martial law is ever declared. The Constitution denies the military the right to operate on US soil. Not so with the DHS.

George W. Bush was not just Gog. He was Gog ben Gog. His father was more likely Magog as proven by an early article in the sidebar of this blog. David Lloyd Gog, PM of Great Britain was the first Gog to capture Yerushalayim from the Turks back in 5678 during WW1. It was a Motzei Shmittah year, and a potential Yovel year too from the oft posted link to a chart on this blog. The 2nd Gog may have been Gog HW Bush Sr, but he never conquered or even came to Yerushalayim. The 2nd or 3rd Gog was most assuredly Gog ben Gog Bush Jr. Since his father's name at the Skull and Bones Society was Magog, The 7 years of Gog UMagog was the Presidency of Gog W. or OO Magog (Gog Sr.) from Hoshana Rabba 5762 until Hoshana Rabba 5769. On Hoshana Rabba 5762 Gog Jr. started the aerial bombing of Afghanistan in response to 9/11. 5762 was the first year of a Shmittah cycle. The end of the Shmittah cycle 5768 (2008) on the last day ( 29th Elul 5768) of that cycle, the Dow Jones Industrial avg. fell that day exactly 777 points, to mark the hereofore greatest wealth extinction in Western world history. Because of our behavior and our lack of common decency in that Shmittah cycle over enabling the Disengagement in 5765 because of hatred for settlers and wanting millions of shekels for Ashkenazi yeshivot, this process did not end in 5769 with Mashiach ben David. It was NOT b'itah, and it simply required that we pass a basic test of common decency which many of us flunked. And so it continued for 7 more years until the End, the very End 5775.

"A redeemer will come to Tzion and for those (outside of Eretz Yisrael) who have repented of a Pesha (a cruel sin or a sin done with reckless disregard for common decency or the Truth)". What is that cruel sin since that pasuk is in the singular. I believe that HaShem has made it known what that sin is. Last year during the year of Kolot, whose kolot were heard? The Kol Chazakah because of missiles emanating from Gaza, missiles that would not have been fired at the Merkaz if it were not for the Disengagement in 5765. This is the central Pesha for which HaShem wants teshuvah in order to merit seeing Mashiach ben David. For Jews in Chu"l it would revolves around the apathetic attitude of some who likely said, "Who cares? How does this affect me?" This does not apply to all Jews in Chul, but to most of them. By the way, this applies doubly to Jews who live here who received rockets over their skies over the summer. This Sin still stands before the Kiseh HaKavod demanding that Jews repent of it. Was the IS 290 shekels to Ashkenazi Yeshivot who took the money worth the potential loss of Olam HaBa? Did you question the possibility that the so called Gedolim who joined Sharon's Govt., that maybe they seriously erred on this one crucial matter? Time is long past to continue to play games about this very important issue. But Gafni and Litzman are still in charge of UTJ. That stinks. Something is really wrong if after 9 years no one has reflected on the possibility of a serious moral error.

Also my sense is that O. will not have to declare martial law. He has 34 million green cards for illegal aliens printed for after the Nov. Midterms in less than two weeks. He will simply give all these illegal aliens amnesty by "executive order" or in other terms, dictatorial decree, on the Wednesday after the first Tuesday in November. He will be a Dictator by virtue of the Bureaucracy that he controls and by virtue of the rules of the Bureaucracy that Cass Sunstein has already written. Note: Cass and Samantha Power are husband and wife. What a pair for the Sitra Acher!

Once he makes Congress irrelevant on the domestic front, he will be able to spend much of his extra time, that he would usually spend engaging Congress, coming after us.

I live outside Israel. In 2005 I asked a friend who was doing a presentation at our shul against the disengagement, if he was going to Gush Katif. He said he was and asked me was I going? I said no, but I wish I could. Spur of the moment he asked me - said I could stay with his family in Susya and leave from there. I asked my husband(he had to work) and he said yes! In less than a week I was in Israel. There was a plan to meet in Park Ofakim and then to GK. When it came time to leave to go to the rally (I think in Sderot) I ended up going alone - my friend couldn't get out of work. He walked me down to the intersection (in Susya) and I stuck out my thumb. I got a ride and to make a long story short I had the most unforgettable 28 days of my life. It was really like a dream... getting the ride in, the check point, the people I met, the Shabbats, the Torah shiurs, Tisha Ba'av, the gates breached, the crying, burning houses and the masses of Jews struggling force against force in the hot August sun.. I wasn't thinking how Hashem was with me until I came back and someone said, "Weren't you scared all alone?" There was no other way to look at it. I had no idea where I was going and G-d laid out the path for me. I had no fear and it could only be because G-d was with me. I cried for a month when I returned and still it hurts to talk about it. Betrayed by our brother. That's the pain. I didn't leave my house for a month when I returned. I pray there will be justice for all those still waiting..

I had to go home to be treated as everyone marched into Kfar Maimon. Then on Motzei Tisha B'Av, I drove a half dozen people down to Nahal Gerar through corn fields so that they could infiltrate Gaza at night in order to be there. All I could think as we arrived at Gerar was Avraham being kicked out of Gaza with 1000 pieces of silver and Yitzchak being kicked out with all the wealth he had gained from selling his produce in a chain store named Yitzchak's with 100 outlets. He then dug a well there in Nachal Gerar, and they kicked him out of there too.

The the alignment of nations against Israel.

we are still watching to see how the alignment of nations of the world will finally unfold in regards to the prophecy of Ezekiel 38:2-6 regarding the Gog-Magog alliance and the rival alliance led by the modern nations of the ten tribes of Israel. We know Iran will be in the Gog-Magog alliance, but many other nations are not mentioned in that prophecy. It is possible, even likely, that Iraq will never be put back together as a nation and that there will finally be an independent Kurdistan. Turkey doesn’t want that outcome, but Turkey’s feckless actions may actually bring that to pass.

Russia and Iran are now buddy-buddy, with all the nuclear know-how of Russia being used to created a nuclear Iran. Notice also that when any nation attempts to sanction Iran for all the tricks they pull it is always Russia, and China, that side with Iran against everyone else.

On the case of Ebola- do you find anywhere in the Chameshei chumshei or in Neviim a description of Ebola... like a plague or a fire or something.

Chodesh tov. Tonight begins Rosh Chodesh MarCheshvan.

Leah: No, Ebola is NOT specifically mentioned in the Tanakh as a plague at the end of days, but that does not preclude it from being so. The mushroom clouds ARE specifically mentioned in Sefer Yoel as Date Palms of Smoke.

I had another inspirational thought today which explains the juxtaposition of the terror attack on the 3 month old girl in Yerushalayim and the Parliament Bldg. in Ottawa, Canada. Yet, I don't want to predict. So I will wait and see before discussing it.

I will mention this. There is a reason why we don't say tachanun from Isru Chag until Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan, an explanation that I heard years ago. On Hoshana Rabba the decrees from Rosh HaShana/ Yom Kippur are sent into the physical world. All the Good from those decrees can immediately be accessed at that time. So we have had plenty of rain since Chag this year. Yet, the Ro'a HaGezeirah (Badness of the Decree) is NOT dispensed immediately for the rest of Tishrei except for some rare occasions when HaShem personally executes the wicked on Hoshana Rabba to death since the Malach HaMavet does not execute people to death on Hoshana Rabba, only HaShem. Because of HaShem's Rachmanut, He divides of the Punishments to be dispensed into 12 parts to be dispensed from Cheshvan through the following Tishrei of he following year. So all the bad things that are happening now are still on the Cheshbon (the account) for 5774 until the day after Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan when we begin to experience the Roa (the badness) for the new year. Also until the 7th or 8th of Cheshvan the bad decrees from the two years, this year and last year, are mixed until the 8th of Cheshvan when the bad decrees are totally from the new year's cheshbon. In this way, Rosh Chodesh for each month provides us with an additional opportunity to ameliorate and mitigate the bad decrees meant to be dispensed in that particular month.

Yes, and most importantly of all like from Mitzraim, many of us will have fallen to Mem Tet Sha'arei Tumah. At the time of the redemption from Mitzraim this basically included the entire nation with the possible exception of Moshe Rabbeinu himself who was raised in Pharaoh's palace but who spent decades as King of Kush after being expelled from Mitzraim.

In this generation we have had opportunities to go in either direction. 5727 was the year of the 6 Day War/ Unification of Yerushalayim and the Summer of Love. The first event seriously kicked off the Ba'al Teshuvah movement in the Western nations which should have ended up with everyone doing teshuvah moving to Eretz Yisrael to complete their teshuvah process, but well we all do our best don't we? The 2nd event like Bilaam telling us to have orgies in the public parks kicked off the degeneration of the Western World. Both of these events either reach their peak or trough over the 49 year period including the year in which they started as year 1 since 5727 was the first year of both a Shmittah cycle and a Yovel cycle. This would mean that 5775 is of course the 49th year in either our spiritual growth or in our spiritual degeneration. Teshuvah is still possible even from Mem Tet Sha'arei Tumah, but after this year? not possible anymore. You get the picture.

10/23/2014 9:15 PM
Blogger Dov Bar-Leib said...

The Final Redemption is NOT just the redemption of Israel. It is the redemption of the entire world. So HaShem will not allow His world to fall below Mem Tet Sha'arei tumah even if the Ba'al Kerry wants it to by appointing LGBT American ambassadors all over the globe in his role as Sec. of State. So HaShem has to start redeeming the entire world in 5775 to prevent this from happening.

For those of us who were not so enamored with the Summer of Love and chose the path of the Ba'al Teshuvah movement, in 5776 we arrive at the 50th Gate. And we all know who is waiting for us at the 50th Gate.

G-d forbid that we will have to "hang on" another 7 years. If that were to occur, Persia would take over the world in less than 4 years from now in the middle of the Shmittah cycle, and by the Shmittah year in 5782, the world would cease to exist because of Persian dominance.

I am no longer concerned about the elections here. I do vote because I believe in voicing my opinion and not sitting back, yet I firmly believe that my prayers(all of our prayers) count on a much greater scale. Behavior, mitzvah observance and prayer are key. Unity is important, too.

As we are cogitating on the Final Redemption year, we can't forget our least-favored Wicked Witch of the West, the Witch of Ein Dor, the one and only Tzipi Livni. Today, a long interview between Nahum Barnea, Tovah Tzimuki and Ms. Livni was published by The Latest Idiocy.

According to this, she still believes in her political process; even though last summer's war was entirely due to actions she participated in that rendered the Israeli South wide open to attack, she has formed "a single bloc, 25 seats, together in favor of a political settlement, together against nationalism" with Ya'ir Lapid's Yesh (or Ain) Atid.

I have no idea how a country can survive without some positive sense of identity, of which nationalism provides a large part.

And on religious matters, they have (really!) Avigdor Lieberman (It was nice to read that the authors of the article actually did some fact-checking, particularly on this issue.).

It's a vvvvveeeeerrrrrrryyyyy long article, so I won't go into a lot - some others, such as Tomer Devorah, already have. But I noted a few things they haven't...

Here's one: "...to say that everyone hates us is a statement that goes against Zionism. Zionism has always initiated, has always looked for partners, has always been politically oriented."

You mean the leaders who promoted, and then dumped, Zionism when it failed to win the world favor they sought after, don't you, Ms. Tzade? After all, most of you call yourselves "post-Zionists," not Zionists anymore. Zionism, as a concept, can't dictate to non-Jews/Israelis whether to love us or not; it can just be itself - advancing the Jewish agenda. And as it has been made perfectly plain, the world doesn't want to help Jews advance in any way...except to get off the planet.

Too bad for you. We won't.

Next comes a most confusing statement: "Most Israelis want borders, want to preserve the settlement blocs, preserve Jerusalem, and the holy sites in particular, want security. The settlers, in contrast, don't want to come to an agreement. They use the security argument and undermine the security."

What the h-e-double-hockeysticks do you mean by that, Tzipi? Most Israelis want to preserve the settlement blocs and Yerushalayim, including holy sites, which would promote security, but because the "settlers" want this too, they're weakening security? News Flash: the mitnahalim are a lot of the Israelis you're talking about!

Now, the interviewers ask very tough questions of her, but not the sort of questions we would ask. Here's one of them...

Do you have red lines, we ask. Under what circumstances would you pull Hatnua out of the government, we wonder.

"I'll decide whether or not to leave the government based on the facts on the ground – is political progress being made or not...Quitting the government now wouldn't promote my vision – to the contrary. The situation would deteriorate..."

So, her agenda/vision must be making a lot of progress for her to have stayed so long. Not so good for us.

There's a lot more where she trashes Yosh dwellers; mainly she pulls a 1984-style newspeak switcheroo whereby land and settlements mean Israel gets weaker instead of stronger. She even pulled out a "slogan" I never heard before (maybe some of you who are more veteran than I can tell me if it indeed appeared): 'Money for the settlements instead of the poorer neighborhoods.' Can she be for real?

I'm too tired to go further. If you're interested you can read the whole thing from the link at the top of this post.

Or, maybe we should just forget the Witch of Ein Dor. The article was a long-winded attempt (nearly 5,000 words) to promote her, and it failed miserably as far as I am concerned.

Good thing HaShem has other plans...

The Apache and Navajo nations, more than any other Am. Indian nations speak the trademark Athabascan family of languages that was directly descended from the ancient Mongol languages of Central and Eastern Russia/ northeastern Asia. In ancient times the Mongol peoples were known as the nation of Magog so much so that traders along the spice route called the Great Wall of China the Wall of Al Magog because it was built to keep out the Mongols from invading Sin (China). So when Gog Sr. ben Prescott pledged the Skull and Bones Society, his father had demonstrated spiritual command over the Magogite peoples of the New World by unearthing Geronimo's skull and performing occultic practices on it, so much so that Gog Sr.'s pledge name before stealing his own skull was Magog. nothing new here. Gog P. Bush son of Jeb has a lot to say about his father's 2016 run for the Presidency...if Obama does not declare martial law in the interim. So if George W. Bush was Gog ben Gog, is Jeb Bush Jeb Av Gog? The P. in Gog P. probably stands for the old curmudgeon grave robber himself, Prescott. Gog P. would benefit greatly from the instant amnesty of 34 million illegal Hispanics. He is half Hispanic and half Bush.

Only Barbara Bush, wife of Gog Sr., seems to have an ounce of humility and common sense.

In an interview with The Associated Press this month, Jeb Bush said his wife, Columba, is "supportive" of a potential presidential campaign and his mother, former first lady Barbara Bush, was now "neutral, trending in a different direction." Barbara Bush declared last year there had been "enough Bushes" in the White House.

"But that doesn't mean that I don't understand the challenges that this brings," Jeb Bush told the AP. "This is ultimately my decision with as much consideration as I can to take into account the people that I really love."

George P. Bush, in the interview aired Sunday, said his family would be "100 percent" behind his father if he decides to run.

First Refuah Shleimah to your wife Rav Dov.

Second, an odd ocurrence today in the UK.
A man ran straight at the Prime Minister, who was exiting a meeting at a civic building in the North of England.
The Prime Minister's security detail managed to grab the man but the man got close enough to have caused damage had he so wished, and also the ensuing kerfuffle saw the Prime Minister alone, near his car, for a few seconds, very much unguarded.

The man who ran into the Prime Minister claimed he was jogging to the gym where he was to work out with a personal trainer.

It might be true.
But something odd about it all, the "look" of the man did not fit the "look" of someone who could afford a personal trainer. He was what we here call a "Crusty", the type with bedraggled hair who goes to Occupy Protests and outdoor music festivals.
He was wearing a logo on his T Shirt of "Tintagel", an obscure heavy metal band, itself adapted from that of the Wu Tang clan, a New York based Hip Hop group.

This happened on the day that British troops withdrew from combats roles in Afghanistan.

i think there is more to this than meets the ye, that the "Jogger"was either warning to Cameron from certain people in the military industrial complex, using a King Arthur style message (Tintagel is a village associated with King Arthur) to promote British militarism and nationalism on a day when they appeared to be in retreat.
Or it was test by the security services of the efficiency of the Prime minister's bodyguards, who are police officers.

The Talmud foresees the suffering that the Jewish people will endure prior to Mashiah’s arrival:

“In that time, a great wave of suffering and harsh decrees will afflict the Jewish nation, all the wicked among the Jews will die out; even the Torah scholars will have no peace… and many will despair of the final redemption.” (Sanhedrin 97b, 98a)

It has been foreseen by the prophets that the suffering preceding Mashiah will reach an unprecedented magnitude. The commentators explain that throughout the different periods of persecution the Jewish nation has endured, there had always been a safe haven to run to – away from affliction. In the end of days however, there will be no escape, as all the nations will unite as one common enemy against the Jewish Nation.

Jews in these countries should have food storage with Jews and righteous gentiles in a country location with weapons to protect the food and their children. There will be chaos in the large liberal cities which are bankrupt of G-dly moral values. I have been writing this for years. They have had years to prepare. I even listed the attributes of righteous gentiles so they will know whom to befriend.

The mitzvah of the moment will be to dwell in a sukkah on the day of evil. At it says in Tehillim 27.
"He will hide me in His sukkah on the Day of Evil" That will be next Sukkot. During Sukkot 5776 DON'T LEAVE YOUR SUKKAH except to engage in necessary activity. Stay there in the sukkah especially on the entire day of Hoshana Rabba. There will be many surprises on the day of Hoshana Rabba 5776, and a flimsy kosher sukkah will provide the best protection.

Gd’s Ultimate Retribution
“Behold it will be at the time that I return the captives of Yehuda and Yerushalayim, I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Yehoshafat and judge them there for what they have done and exiling my nation...” (Yoel 4:1-2)

During this war, Hashem will visit His final retribution upon the gentile nations that have caused suffering for the Jewish people throughout the exile. According to the Midrash[5], all the ancient rulers who had persecuted the Jews will be brought back to life during this war to receive their due punishment. These punishments will come in the form of supernatural events that will overshadow even the miracles performed at the time of the Egyptian Exodus. In fact, according to some views, we will no longer be required to remember the Exodus from Egypt, as we will instead praise Hashem for our miraculous salvation during Gog Umagog and for establishing Mashiah as sovereign over the entire world.

This final retribution will take place during the holiday of Sukkot, and every year henceforth, the gentile nations will converge upon Jerusalem on Sukkot to pay homage to Hashem who revealed his glory and awesome strength to the entire world on this day.

The Downfall of the Gentile Nations

“And then prophesize, saying to Gog: So says Gd, sovereign of the world…I have brought you here [to Israel] to make My Name known to all when they beheld the punishment with which I shall afflict you… on that day My anger will be aroused…a tremendous trembling will seize the land…mountains will be flattened, towers and buildings will crumble, and fortified walls will fall to the ground…I will cause chaos and man will strike his fellow brother… and I will strike him [Gog] with torrential downpours and huge hailstones; fire and sulfur will rain down on him and all who joined him, and then I will be recognized and revered and all will know that I am Gd.” (Yehezkel 38:14-22)

Anonymous Meir M. said...

“And this will be the punishment that Gd will deliver upon all the nations who have laid siege on Jerusalem: their flesh will melt off their bodies while standing, their eyes will fall from their sockets, and their tongues will fall from their mouths…” (Zecharya 14:12)

Many commentaries assume that the “tremendous trembling that will seize the land” refers literally to a devastating earthquake that will bring chaos to the invading armies stationed in Israel, leaving death and destruction in its wake. The earthquake will occur just east of the Temple Mount, on Har Hazetim (the Mount of Olives), which will be split into two smaller mountains separated by an enormous crater. Interestingly enough, geologists have identified two significant fault line beneath the Land of Israel that have causes a number of earthquakes in Jerusalem and throughout the country.

Approximately once every century, the city is struck by a powerful quake, the most recent one having occurred in 1927.

Others, however, explain “the deafening sounds and enormous explosions” as a reference to the heavy exchange of heavy artillery fire between the two armies, who will encamp on either side of Har Hazetim. The sound and force of the ammunition will cause the land to tremble and destroy much of the city.

The commentaries explain the phrase, “and man will strike his fellow brother,” as referring to a bloody conflict that will be waged between armies representing nations of Yishmaelim and nations of Nossrim. These groups are called “brothers” because they descend from the same family: the Yishmaelim descend from Yishmael, and the Nossrim from Yishmael’s nephew, Esav. In fact, Esav married Yishmael’s daughter, thus forming an even closer relationship between the two. But during the war of Gog Umagog, these “brothers” will fight mercilessly against one another to the bitter end.

It has been foreseen by the prophets that the suffering preceding Mashiah will reach an unprecedented magnitude.

The Purpose of Suffering
Our Sages give a number of reasons for the suffering that will precede Mashiah. Primarily, it will inspire a process of repentance through which the Jews will become worthy of redemption, and the sinners who fail to repent will be eliminated. Others claim that in the period before Mashiah the Jews will spiritually deteriorate to the point where Hashem will need to hasten Mashiah’s arrival, before they reach the level at which redemption is no longer possible.

Ways to Be Saved.

This information should not lead us to fear and despair, Heaven forbid. It should rather inspire us to increase our commitment to Torah, so that G'd will spare us the suffering that will precede Mashiah.

How specifically can one save himself from these horrors?

The Talmud lists several particular missvot that help a person escape the suffering of pre-Messianic times, including involvement in Torah learning, kindness, and ensuring to eat three meals on Shabbat. These missvot, in particular, have the ability to protect a person from suffering before Mashiah’s arrival.

I wonder who noticed when they called Bibi 'Aspergery.' I know I didn't, but I didn't see anyone comment on it, either. This term, similar to (but very much not the same as) "mental retard," implies that he is unfit for a job like Prime Minister and should have been seen as such by anyone with a brain and power of observation - and is likely a projection of the Americans' own condition, long before this most recent name-calling!

Mr. Netanyahu is a lot of things, but not mentally deficient in any way. That would leave him...what, not responsible for anything he does? Or something. American leadership is not thinking. Or, maybe the NWO leadership is way off course - way to go, HaShem!

I apologize if this thought isn't exactly fleshed-out. I would have to have more time to think it through.
